Farmer leaders demand rollback or higher compensation
As inflation surges, Govt has banned exports of wheat. This barely a month after PM Modi committed to feed the world. India's ban on wheat exports triggered a 6% jump in global wheat prices while moderating prices in India. Wheat farmers in Punjab are upset as they now will be forced to sell their stocks at the lower domestic prices. Here is a special report.
