Army retrieves mortal remains of soldier trapped in debris after landslide in Tawang
The mortal remains of a soldier, who got trapped in the debris after a sudden landslide in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang, were retrieved on Saturday.
A massive landslide struck the forward area of the Tawang sector on March 27. Following the incident, while everyone escaped without critical injury, Subedar AS Dhagale got trapped in the debris, which was 6–7 feet, including trees, rocks and mud.
A search operation was launched to locate him, and after four days, his mortal remains were retrieved and have been sent to a district hospital in Tawang.

Subedar AS Dhagale belonged to the Ratnagiri district in Maharashtra. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
