IAS officer Tina Dabi, the first SC woman to have topped the IAS examination, will be taking charge as the Collector of Jaisalmer district in Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, 33 IAS officers, including seven district collectors, and 16 IPS officers, comprising three Inspector General of Police and district SP each, were transferred in Rajasthan on Monday. Apart from this, five Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers were given additional charge of some other posts as the department of personnel transferred the officers through three different orders on Monday.

Earlier this year, Dabi had married Dr. Pradeep Gawande in a private ceremony in Jaipur after her divorce with Athar Shafi Khan, an IAS officer based in Kashmir. Tina Dabi and Pradeep Gawande had a private wedding reception in a plush hotel in Jaipur on April 22.

Both Dabi and Gawande had been posted in Jaipur. While Dabi was working as joint secretary in the finance department in Rajasthan government, Gawande was posted as Director of Archaeology and Museums in Jaipur.
