Lucknow: PFI member under scanner for threatening to blow up RSS offices

A man from Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu who had been arrested for allegedly planning multiple bomb attacks on RSS offices in UP confessed to having (Popular Front of India) PFI connection.

UP Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had arrested the accused, identified as Raj Mohammed, on June 7.

During interrogation, it was revealed that Mohammed worked as an active member of PFI and then SDPI from 2018 to 2021. However, he avoided revealing his activities after 2021.


The accused, Raj Mohammad, had allegedly threatened to blow up six RSS offices in Lucknow. Upon receiving the information, the UP police swung into action and traced the accused with the help of social media applications.

The UP police immediately alerted the Tamil Nadu police and after tracking the address of the alleged accused, he was taken into custody by Thirukokarnam police station, Pudhukottai.
