Hyderabad: In an unfortunate incident, a fire broke out inside the under-construction new secretariat building in Telangana's Hyderabad. The new secretariat building which is being built by over 600 crores is scheduled for inauguration on February 17, 2023 by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

Fire broke out in the ground floor of the new secretariat building while construction was in the wee hours of Friday.

More than 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

Dense smoke was seen emerging from the building.

Fortunately, no fatality was reported in the fire incident. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.

A case will be registered and investigation will be done.
