Thirsty parrot drinks coconut water in viral video. Internet loves it

The internet is in love with a video of a beautiful parrot that was snapped drinking coconut water on a tree.

On Saturday, Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda took to Twitter to share the aforementioned clip with his followers. In the video, the parrot is seen perched on a coconut tree. Then, it plucks a small coconut with its beak and quenches its thirst by drinking water from it.

"Who doesn't love drinking coconut water? (sic)," Susanta Nanda wrote in the caption.

In his tweet, officer Nanda also explained the benefits of drinking coconut water. "It is said that coconut water acts as a digestive. Prevents bloating after meals. Regular consumption of coconut water also helps in maintaining the electrolyte balance in your body and thus, keeps your blood pressure in control (sic)," he wrote.

At the time of writing this story, the video had already garnered over 11k views. Netizens absolutely loved the clip and took to the comments section to express the same. "Beautiful video," a user commented. "No wonder they are so pretty," wrote another user. "How strong are their beaks," an astonished Twitter user asked.
