Actress Trisha Krishnan, who used to be quite active on social media, has deleted most of her Instagram posts. The Petta star retained only seven of her old posts on the photo-sharing app and fans are curious to know the reason behind it. In June, Trisha took to Twitter and Instagram to reveal that she is taking a break from social media for a while.

However, after going on a digital detox for almost three weeks, the actress made a comeback by sharing a new picture of herself. Fans of the actress were relieved.

Now, after almost a month, Trisha has surprised her followers by deleting Instagram posts. Her last post was collage of her scenes from blockbuster film Ghilli. Apart from a couple of selfies, the actress also retained one of her old pictures with trophies.

Fans have been requesting her to share the reason that led her to delete the posts.

Trisha was last seen in Gautham Menon's short film, Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn. Starring Simbu in the lead, the short film is the sequel of sorts to the trio's super hit 2010 film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.

Though Trisha has many projects in her kitty, she is yet to have a release in 2020. Most of her projects are under various stages of production.

Trisha was supposed to shoot for Mani Ratnam's period film, Ponniyin Selvan in March. However, due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the shoot got postponed. The film is based on the Tamil literary novel, written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy. The period film boasts of an ensemble cast comprising Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Sobhita Dhulipala and Aishwarya Lekshmi in significant roles. Ponniyin Selvan has music scored by AR Rahman.
