A woman in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur called the police on her mother-in-law after the two got into a fight over cooking food. The incident was reported from Gorakhpur's Majhgawan village.

The woman was reportedly fed up with her mother-in-law over being fed stale food and claimed that she was falling ill as a result. She also complained that her mother-in-law would spend the entire day watching TV.

After the police rushed to the spot, they were stumped to find the reason behind the fight between the woman and her mother-in-law.

The mother-in-law, in turn, told cops that the woman was lying and never helped her with making food. She alleged that her daughter-in-law remained busy on her mobile phone the whole day.

The police officials managed to convince both sides to drop their complaints and resolve their conflict. The women were also warned against making frivolous complaints.
