Why crocodiles have made this island most dangerous in the world

Ramree Island is located off the Burma coast in Bay of Bengal famous for large population of native saltwater crocodiles in mangrove swamps.The Guinness Book of World Records has listed this island for the largest crocodile attack in history. In 1942, Japanese soldiers tried to attack British troops by wading through the mangrove swamps. A large number of Japanese soldiers were eaten by the crocodiles, only a few escaped. Ramree island now remains largely abandoned because of the deadly crocodiles.
