Whale Forming Spiral Whilst Bubble Feeding

ID: 3459555 These incredible pictures show a group of humpback whales forming a spiral to hunt for krill. The whales are using a technique called bubble-net feeding where the krill become trapped near the surface of the water in a net of air bubbles. The amazing aerial shots were captured by conservation and adventure filmmaker, Richard Sidey, of Wanaka, New Zealand, whilst documenting a research project in Antarctica. **Please contact licensing@catersnews.com for media / licensing / broadcast usage** SUBMIT A VIDEO: https://www.catersnews.com/submit-content/ Connect with Caters: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Caters_News Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CatersTV Website: https://www.catersnews.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caters_news/ Company Information: Caters Clips is owned and operated by Caters News Agency Ltd, an international multimedia content provider.
