Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan shared a video of an elephant breaking an electric fence. The viral video is leaving the internet in awe of the animal's intelligence. It is an old clip from 2019 which has once again grabbed the internet's attention. It has over 65k views so far.

In the video, you can see how the elephant first checks with its foot if it can get an electric shock by lightly touching the wires. After checking for the flow of electricity, it then pushes down the wooden pole and even tries to throw a thick wood piece to break the barrier.

After it manages to pull down the pole, the animal then crosses the road to get to the other end and there too, breaks the electric fencing to get inside the forest.

In the comments section, netizens called the elephant "clever". Some users also talked about humans encroaching on land. "Clever elephant. When humans have encroached every micro inch of land and created barriers everywhere, what else can other species do?" a user wrote.

"Without access to any labs and R&D, they are proving better than us. And they never intend to harm others," another user wrote.
