Lastminute.com reviewer Hazel shares, "The weather was amazing for the majority of my trip, and although the last couple of days were overcast the cooler weather was welcomed. During my stay, I took a walk up the nearby mountains, went scuba diving and used the spa facilities at the hotel. The marina was a 10-minute walk away from the hotel and had plenty of restaurants to choose from. I had an amazing time, would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future. De-stressing tips: Sunbathing by the many pools and on the solarium of the hotel. The hotel also has a small private beach. I used the hotel's spa facilities which were luxury, varied and amazing. Adventurous activities: My hotel had an on-site diving centre who I used to go scuba diving in a nearby bay in Puerto del Carmen. They also offer snorkelling and kayaking. Sightseeing places: The mountains and the marina. Solo experience: I really enjoyed scuba diving. As a first time diver, I felt totally at ease by the instructor and was able to fully immerse myself in the experience. I liked: Staying in a 5-star hotel that exceeded my expectations, the weather and the activities that I participated in.

Lastminute.com reviewer Paul adds, "I took a bus and boat trip to Dalyan to see some Lycian tombs, turtle island and some mudbaths, well worth the trip out. There are also scuba diving companies in Marmaris which was okay but there's not a huge amount of life underwater. Sightseeing places: I took a tour to Dalyan to see turtle beach, mudbaths, and some Lycian tombs. It was a full day out, well worth the trip. It involved around 1. 5hrs each way by minibus and then a boat trip up a river. Lunch was provided. I would highly recommend. I also did a couple of days scuba diving with Paradise diving. They're a professional diving company, friendly and well organized. The diving was reasonably priced, equipment was fine and diving pleasant enough, though there's not a huge amount of life. Self-experience: I enjoyed finding a local Turkish family restaurant (Meryem Ana) in the backstreets of Marmaris for some great food served by the owner with his mother cooking. I liked: The opportunity to take trips out to do activities."
