Arijit Singh's mother hospitalised in Kolkata; Srijit Mukherjee and Swastika Mukherjee request people to help

Popular Bollywood singer Arijit Singh's mother has been admitted to a hospital in Kolkata. While the reason for her hospitalization is still unknown, film director and 'Dil Bechara' actress Swastika Mukherjee requested people to help Arijit. Swastika Mukherjee posted an SOS message on her Instagram post and asked people to donate blood. She wrote in her post, 'Need A- blood for singer Arijit Singh’s mother, admitted in Amri Dhakuria. Need it today. Pls, contact @swatihihihi with verified MALE DONORS'. The Bengali actor posted it with the caption, 'Urgent SOS SOS'.. Meanwhile, Srijit Mukherjee tweeted in Bengali which loosely translated as, '#Copied. Need A– donor for singer Arijit Singh’s mother in Dhakuria Amri tomorrow. Interested blood donors can contact Nitasha'. Meanwhile, many celebrities have been posting calls for help for the needy who are unable to find necessary resources amid the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Recently, Bhumi Pednekar had asked Twitter to help her arrange a hospital bed for her aunt. Now, talking about Arijit, his career kicked off when he first participated in the singing reality show 'Fame Gurukul' in 2005. In Bollywood, he shot to fame with hits such as 'Tum Hi Ho', 'Channa Mereya', and 'Dil Sambhal Ja Zara'. For his work in the playback singing field, Arijit has won a National Award and six Filmfare awards.
