'Bigg Boss' Tamil: Meera Mithun gets anticipatory bail in a cheating case

'Bigg Boss' Tamil contestant Meera Mithun on Thursday received an anticipatory bail by the Madras high court in a cheating case filed against her. The bail was granted on the condition that Meera will be appearing before the Teynampet police for two weeks and deposit Rs 50,000 in the court. According to the complaint filed by a beauty show producer, Ranjitha Bandari, Meera obtained an advance of Rs 50,000 for allotting a slot in a beauty contest which was later on cancelled. Commenting on the case she said, 'She is innocent and was falsely implicated in the case for no reason'.
