
Drug case: NCB moves NDPS court, seeks cancellation of Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa's bail
The Narcotics Control Bureau has approached the special court under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985, seeking the cancellation of comedienne Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa's bail. The NCB has also demanded custodial interrogation of the couple. NCB officers arrested Bharti on November 21 and her husband the next day, following raids at their Mumbai residence, wherein they seized 86.5 gram of cannabis. The NCB had said that the duo accepted that they consumed ganja. They were to be under judicial custody till December 4 but were granted bail on November 23.
