Ground report from Mumbai building collapse site

Two people have been killed and many are still trapped under the debris of the ‘Kesarbai’ building that collapsed at around 11:41 am on Tuesday in south Mumbai's Dongri area. Fire tenders and NDRF teams are carrying out an extensive rescue operation to pull out as many people alive as possible from the debris. Three NDRF teams have been deployed to look for survivors. The building that collapsed was situated in a congested area, which is hampering the rescue operations. Locals were seen forming human chains to clear the debris from their bare hands to find survivors.
