Gurugram all set to record wettest September in 10 years, witnesses surplus of 188% rainfall

The torrential rains over the last few days may have resulted in misery for the locals, it actually helped cover the dearth of rainfall in Gurugram this season. The current spell of rain is likely to result in this season being the wettest in the last ten years. The India Meteorological Department data shows that September's rain is likely to surpass its records for this month in the decade. Gurugarm witnessed a surplus of 188% as compared to the normal of 77.8mm, which had seemed improbable a few days ago because of a prolonged dry spell.
