Kareena Kapoor Khan shares Pune Police's COVID-19 awareness video featuring Raj Kapoor
The COVID-19 cases in India are touching record high numbers every day. To curb the spread of infections, government authorities, healthcare, and frontline workers, police officials are launching several awareness programs and campaigns for the general public. In a similar attempt, Pune Police have also launched the COVID-19 awareness campaign wherein the officials made a creative video based on a popular song from Raj Kapoor's 1970 film 'Mera Naam Joker'. In a video, a cop is seen singing 'Aye Bhai Zara Dekh Ke Chalo' with a twist and asking people to mask up and informing how the coronavirus isn't just a normal cold or flu. The video is not only winning the heart of Punekars but even our very own Bebo was left all impressed by this creativity of Pune Police. After coming across the video, Raj Kapoor's granddaughter Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared this video. Not only this, but she also hailed the Pune police for their creativity and called it a 'Brilliant video!' Several netizens also reacted to the video and dropped comments like, ‘Excellent’ , ‘Wow.... Super se bhi upar’ , ‘Awesome’ etc. This is not the first time Pune Police is garnering praises for their creativity. Earlier, they came up with a rather witty message using a meme based on the iconic 'Gangs of Wasseypur' film to warn the citizens of the city about cyber fraudsters selling COVID-19 medicines. Pune police took to its official Twitter handle and along with a poster from the film 'Gangs of Wasseypur' wrote, 'If You DON'T want to end up chasing a 'DEFINITE' #Cyber Fraud, then STOP calling Unverified Nos. that claim to supply #Remdesivir & #Mucormycosis Medicines! #CyberFraudKoPermissionDiyaKya #CyberSecurity #GangsOfWasseypur'. Meanwhile, coming back to Kareena Kapoor Khan, on the work front, she will next be seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ alongside Aamir Khan.
