Maha govt allocates Rs 500 crore for acquisition of weapons, technology to tackle Naxalism

Maharashtra Government today allocated Rs 500 crore in its budget for modern weapons, instruments and technologies to put an end to Naxal activities in affected areas of the state. According to reports, the state Assembly allocated the funds to be used for the special skill development program to provide employment to youth in Naxal-affected areas.
