Mid-air crisis: Air India Mumbai-Bengaluru flight makes emergency landing after engine fails

An Air India A320 Neo aircraft operating a Mumbai-Bengaluru flight suffered mid-air engine shutdown. It happened after it lifted off from the Mumbai airport. With one of the two engines lost, the pilots were forced to return to Mumbai. The aircraft carried out an emergency landing back in Mumbai, about 20 minutes post departure. Now an investigation is initiated by DGCA.
