Days after dismissing rumours of their break-up, lovebirds Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor stepped out for a lunch date on the weekend. As soon as the couple got spotted together, they got papped up and Malaika even waved to the paparazzi before driving away after their date. Donning a ruffled white dress, Malaika looked stunning as always. Arjun, on the other hand, looked uber cool wearing a light blue sweatshirt and denim. Soon after they were spotted, their pictures and videos started making rounds on social media. While their fans were all happy to see the couple together in love, a section of netizens dropped some harsh comments owing to the big age difference between the two and Malaika's outfit. While one of the users wrote, 'Budhiya aur Arjun. Mummy beta', another one commented, 'Apne bete ki umar k sath, uska beta kya sochta hoga'. Another one while calling out the actress for her outfit wrote, 'Dress your age.....' Notably, Arjun is 12 years younger than Malaika and the couple often gets trolled for it. Earlier, in a conversation with an entertainment portal, Arjun has opened up on getting criticized for this age difference and said, 'What I do in my personal life is my prerogative. As long as my work is being recognized, the rest is all just a lot of noise. Plus, you can’t be so bothered about whose age is what, so we should just live, let live and move on. I think it’s a silly thought process to look at age and contextualize a relationship.' Meanwhile, last week there were rumours that the star couple has decided to part ways and end their romantic relationship of four years. However, putting all those rumours to rest, Arjun took to his Instagram handle to share an endearing picture with Malaika and penned a strongly worded note. The couple went public with their relationship in the year 2019, and since then they have been painting the town red with their mushy pictures and holidays.
