Sonu Sood seeks help for people stuck in Arabian Sea due to Cyclone Tauktae

Known for his extraordinary philanthropic work amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Sonu Sood has been garnering praises from every corner of the society. Sonu Sood is leading the way in helping people amid the coronavirus pandemic, transporting sick patients to hospitals, providing beds, medication, other resources and encouraging people to get vaccinated as COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on Indian lives. Now, the actor took to his social media and sought help from Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa for a bunch of people stuck in the middle of the Arabian Sea due to Cyclon Tauktae. He requested him to mobilise their machinery to save precious lives. Sonu tweeted, 'We need to save the lives of these people who are struck in the middle of Arabian sea due to #tauktaecyclone. CM Sir @BSYBJP request you to mobilise our machinery on saving these precious lives.' Along with the post, the actor also shared a picture of the stranded people who were seen wearing life jackets amid the tormenting storm trying to seek help. A video of the stranded people is also going viral on social media where a man can be seen crying and pleading for help amid the deadly storm. For the unversed, Cyclone Tauktae, which has now intensified into an 'extremely severe cyclonic storm', has already begun to show its impact in Mumbai. Gusty winds and rains lashed the city and its neighbouring areas from Sunday night, as the cyclonic storm is heading towards the Gujarat coast. Meanwhile, after arranging transportation for the migrants during the nationwide lockdown last year, the actor, who is often tagged as the 'Real hero of India' and 'Messiah' by his loyal fans, is keeping up busy 24x7 with his social work.
