Sushmita Sen recalls when her 'motherly instinct' saved baby Renee's life: 'My daughter almost died that night'

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is an epitome of elegance and grace. The diva, who is a role model for many Indian women, is a doting mother to two beautiful daughters. Recently, during her interaction with Twinkle Khanna, Sushmita talked about an incident when her motherly instincts saved her daughter Renee's life. The actress, who adopted her first daughter when she herself was just 24 years old, recalled the day when after returning home she started playing with Renee's nose and she started crying loudly. Sushmita said, ' I picked her up and I could feel her wheezing from the back. I was in a nightsuit.. I hadn't spoken to my mom, I had a black CLO, chaabi li, usko belt mei bandha and I drove alone in my pajamas to Nanavati ICU. It was an instinct. My daughter almost died that night and that was just an instinct of a mother.' Renee had to be hospitalised for weeks as her condition was critical. For more news and updates stay tuned to ETimes.
