UP elections: It's up to people of Azamgarh, Samajwadi Party supremo on his poll prospects

Will Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav contest the UP assembly elections or not? It seems he has still not made up his mind. After CM Yogi Adityanath decided to contest from Gorakhpur Sadar, the Samajwadi Party chief has come under pressure. Samajwadi Party's stand has been that Akhilesh Yadav would contest but his seat is yet to be decided. Meanwhile, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya took potshots at the former CM. It may be recalled that Akhilesh Yadav has never contested the state Assembly polls, despite being the CM for five years. He became a member of the Legislative Council after he became CM.
