Iowa Town Submerged as Missouri River Flooding Continues

Parts of the Missouri River floodplain along the Nebraska-Iowa border remained under water on March 21 amid record flooding, according to reports. This video, filmed by the Nebraska State Patrol, shows the community of Percival, Iowa, on March 20. A bomb cyclone over the central states a week earlier contributed to historic flooding across parts of Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri. Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts called the event “the most widespread destruction we have ever seen in our state’s history.” Credit: Nebraska State Patrol via Storyful
