Brave men form human chain to save neighbour from being swept away by flood water

Brave men formed a human chain to save their neighbors that got trapped in fast-flowing flood water after heavy rains hit Thailand. Residents and officials were helping direct the traffic on a submerged road when a man riding a motorcycle passed by. Water pushed him away and he clung to a ditch to save himself. People who were there immediately rushed to rescue him. Footage shows five men forming a human chain and helping the motorbike rider. Onlooker Raktawan Phakdeechotchainit, who was driving behind the rider when it happened, said: "He was riding normally but suddenly fell. It looked like he was hesitant to abandon his motorcycle while people were trying to rescue him". When the water receded, locals retrieved the vehicle which had to be taken to a mechanic as its engine was damaged by the water. The footage was filmed in Si Sa Ket province on October 1.
