Film producer Mushtaq Nadiadwala alleges that his wife and her 'influential' family have held his kids illegally in Pakistan

Film producer Mushtaq Nadiadwala has accused his wife, Maryam Chaudhary, and her family of keeping their two minor children illegally in Pakistan. Nadiadwala has now approached the court and filed a petition seeking the safe return of his kids and direction to the Union Government in the matter. In his petition to the Bombay High Court, the film producer said that the visiting visa granted to the children by the Pakistani authorities expired in October 2021, but they are still being kept there illegally by his wife's 'influential' family. Mushtaq has also claimed that his wife might have been brainwashed by her family into extending her stay in Pakistan as she refused to return to India without providing any plausible reason.
