'Holy Cow': Police complaint against Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya for not paying dues of Rs 31 lakh

A police complaint has been filed against Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife Aaliya by the co-producer of her maiden production venture 'Holy Cow'. The complainant, Manju Garhwal, has alleged that Aaliya is not returning Rs 31 lakh, which were invested by her in the film. Manju told ETimes that Aaliya was in need of money for the said film and she took it from her father, who was about to sell his house in Ujjain and promised to return it in a month's time. However, later Aaliya and Manju had a fallout on some professional issues and things turned bad after that. She further revealed that Manju has till date paid Rs 22 lakh, but the remaing amount i.e. Rs 31 lakh is still pending.
