India successfully carries out maiden flight of unmanned combat aircraft

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully carried out the maiden flight of an unmanned fighter aircraft. The aircraft is called autonomous flying wing technology. The flight test was conducted from the Aeronautical Test Range in Karnataka's Chitradurga. The unmanned fighter aircraft is powered by a small, turbofan engine.
