Kangana Ranaut's plea for urgent hearing on her passport renewal gets rejected, Bombay HC calls it 'vague'

After getting booked under sedition charges by the Bandra Police, actress Kangana Ranaut recently approached the Bombay High Court to renew her passport, which is scheduled to expire in September, claiming that the passport authorities refused to do the same on account of the same FIR with sedition charges registered against her. Post this, the court gave her the date of 25th June for the hearing of the case. But the actress sought an urgent hearing for it as she needs to travel for the shooting of her upcoming film. Now, according to reports, the Bombay High Court refused an urgent hearing of Kangana’s plea and called her application 'vague', which also didn’t include the authorities as a party. As published in one of the news portals, the court has said that 'It is just a film. The schedule can be changed. She should have been more vigilant. If there was urgency, she would have approached you with all the details. Your application is vague. It is just a matter of one week, a film production takes over a year. June 25 is the earliest date we can give.'
