Kisan train carrying 180 tonnes of onions flags off from Indore to Guwahati

The new ‘Kisan train’ carrying onions from Indore to Guwahati was flagged off on Tuesday. This new Western Railway train will be running every Tuesday until February 2020. The train has a total of 20 coaches and carried 180 tonnes of onions for the first run. The train will halt at Bairagarh, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Chapra Rural, Hajipur, Katihar, Kishanganj and New Jalpaiguri stations.
