Sheena Bora murder case: Indrani Mukerjea walks out of jail after 6.5 years
Indrani Mukerjea was released on bail on May 20, 2022 from Mumbai's Byculla jail. She was lodged in jail since 2015 in connection with her daughter’s murder case. Indrani was granted bail by the Supreme Court that stated that 6.5 years was a long time, with a trial stuck with almost 200 witnesses still to be examined.
