
UP: Miscreants pelt stones at cops in Badaun, 2 held
A clash broke out between police and protesters in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun on December 9. The protesters started pelting stones at cops which later turned into a full scale brawl. The police said an altercation took place between a patrolling team and a person when the latter's vehicle was stopped for checking. Dr OP Singh, SSP Badaun, said that two people have been arrested and they will take action against persons who are involved in the incident.
