'Very ignorant of me': R Madhavan issues clarification after getting criticised for claiming ISRO used 'Panchang' for its Mars Mission

Actor R Madhavan is under the scanner for stating that the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) managed to successfully launch a rocket into space for its Mars mission as it used the Hindu calendar or the Panchang. Now, the actor has issued a clarification on Twitter, acknowledging it was an error on his part for calling the Almanac a Panchang. He tweeted, 'I deserve this for calling the Almanac the “Panchang” in Tamil. Very ignorant of me. Though, this cannot take away the fact that what was achieved with just 2 engines by us in the Mars Mission. A record by itself. @NambiNOfficial Vikas engine is a rockstar.'
