Writer-director Navjot Gulati writes a long post explaining his side of story on the war of words with Kanika Dhillon

The 'Manmarziyaan' and 'Kedarnath' writer Kanika Dhillon and the 'Jai Mummy Di' writer Navjot Gulati have been leading headlines for their war of words on Twitter. Kanika had called out Navjot for his sexist remark on her. Now, taking to his Twitter account, Navjot wrote a long post explaining his side of the story, while also apologising to anyone who felt offended by his remarks against Kanika. While talking about Dhillon’s reaction to his posts, Gulati questioned, 'I just made a quip. If I am saying anything using a personal life as an example without tagging anyone, am I doing a crime? I agree, maybe, I should have used different words. But does that mean that you will derail the whole issue, and make it about your personal agenda where you want to portray yourself as a victim.'
