Subs must surface when in our waters, says Tok Mat on Aukus

Submarines must surface when passing through Malaysian waters, says Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan. He also told the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (March 30) that the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (Unclos) also states that any submarine passing through the territory of another nation must be on the surface and this applies to Malaysia and the coastline of Asean nations.
