KUALA LUMPUR: Video footage of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin challenging Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is making its rounds online.

In what is believed to be archived footage prior to the 15th General Election, the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president was seen losing his cool when asked about a claim of cooperation between Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional to form the federal government.

Muhyiddin was being asked by reporters about Anwar's call for the former to publicly declare and provide proof of his party's financial accounts.

This had follows the PKR president's claim at the time that PN were the richest political party in Malaysia at the moment.

Muhyiddin said in the video that Anwar, who is prime minister, had no proof to support his allegations.

"What proof does he (Anwar) have? I can show him our bank accounts.....I know what's the truth. So, I challenge Anwar... if he can't provide proof," said the former prime minister in a loud voice.

He also said that Anwar should be showing evidence of funds in his coalition when asked by reporters about a tie-up between PN and BN to form a federal government.

"What is the evidence? If you want me to show the bank accounts of PH and PN. If Anwar wants to show the accounts of PH...I know."

Yesterday, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission said it has frozen Bersatu's accounts, as part of the process for an ongoing investigation involving RM92.5 billion government funds.
