PETALING JAYA: Those attending the upcoming Parliamentary meeting on July 13 will not be screened for Covid-19, says Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

According to Dr Noor Hisham, existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) such as temperature checks, the use of face masks, and sanitising of hands, will be enforced.

“We won't swab anyone. We will conduct a swab test for only those with symptoms," he said during a press conference on Friday (July 3).

The upcoming Parliament meeting is scheduled to sit for 25 days from July 13 to Aug 27.
