
Jokowi offers to bridge communication between Russia and Ukraine
Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has offered to serve as a communication bridge for the leaders of Ukraine and Russia, in a bid to boost hopes for peace between the latter two nations. Jokowi, who is the current G20 president, spoke at a news conference with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin after a meeting in Moscow on Thursday (June 30).
