
Taxi, ehailing connections could help boost take-up of rail services, says Loke
Talks are being held with ehailing and taxi companies to improve first- and last-mile connectivity with the public rail system within the Klang Valley, says Anthony Loke. The Transport Minister said that on Tuesday (Feb 7), adding that the Land Public Transport Agency (Apad) is currently looking at implementing a pilot ride sharing project involving taxis and ehailing rides to offer trips to and from stations at a lower fare.
