Major fire in George Town

A major fire broke out in the back lanes of Jalan Dato Keramat today, leaving a 1,600 sq ft wooden shophouse gutted and five other adjacent units nearly razed. No one was hurt in the incident while a fire department official said it was too early to determine the cause of the incident.
