Jonathan Van Ness is making history!

The beloved Queer Eye personality is the first male star to cover Cosmopolitan UK in 35 years.

"My body is ready 💗 1st non Female cover star of @cosmopolitanukin 35 YEARS 🏳️‍🌈," the 32-year-old Netflix star captioned a shot of himself on the cover.

In the stunning photo, Van Ness is rocking a peach-colored Christian Siriano dress and Nike sneakers, wearing his luscious locks down and his perfectly trimmed beard in full view.

Van Ness, of course, got some love from his Queer Eye co-stars, including fashion expert Tan France, who commented on the post, "THIS IS SO AWESOME, JACKAAAAAYYY!!! I’M OVER THE MOON FOR YOU, AND YOU LOOK AMAZING! ❤️"

Interior designer Bobby Berk added, "LOOK AT OUR LITTLE BABY!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️," and food guru Antoni Porowski added, "It certainly is 🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️."

In the interview, Van Ness opens up about the struggles of coming forward with his HIV positive status. The moment and his subsequent endorsement of Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, caused many people to come after him on social media.

"It was the first time I ever cried from feedback on Twitter – like ugly-cry in a fetal position," he admits.

He also discusses his friendship with Taylor Swift after appearing in her "You Need to Calm Down" music video.

"The other day, Taylor [Swift] and I were making soup and she asked me to go to a Madonna concert with her. That was the day before my 5 a.m. flight to London to come here for this shoot and my tour," he explains. "I knew it would be an amazing experience. But also... my nervous system. I was a full-time hairdresser and small-business owner, like, 19 months ago. But I hate saying no. I love my friends. I get FOMO. But I have to prioritize self-care. Because if I don’t then my candle will burn out."
