The family have been keeping a largely low profile since child sexual abuse allegations came out about popstar Jackson in Leaving Neverland – although they have vehemently maintained his innoconce.

However, they broke cover for 22-year-old Prince's graduation, with Blanket, 17 – whose official name is Prince Michael Jackson II – joining his brother at Loyola Marymount University on Saturday.

Despite recent headlines about their father, the pair managed to put recent drama aside and enjoy the milestone occasion, sharing a sweet picture to commemorate the moment on Instagram .

His grandmother – and Michael Jackson's mother – Katherine Jackson was also in attendance, as she watched on proudly from her wheelchair as he graduated.

"Yesterday I graduated from @loyolamarymount Cum Laude in the school of business with a focus on entrepreneurship," he wrote a day after the ceremony, alongside a string of family pictures.

"I met so many people and learned so much that the experience alone is worth it. I wish I could thank everyone that helped me make it to the end but I can’t and unfortunately they’re not all pictured here.

"Honestly I can’t tell you if all of it was worth it yet but I am proud of my degree as I believe it is a testament to my dedication and discipline.

"I’m thankful for LMUs education of a whole person and the implementation of Jesuit values because I believe they inspire graduates like me to continue to change the world for the better."

The outing is also a rare one for 88-year-old Katherine, whose health has reportedly taken a decline following the "destructive allegations" made against her son Michael.

"The Wade Robson and James Safechuck allegations and documentary has affected her enormously, and she is terrifically upset by it. It is affecting her health and condition," an insider told the Mail Online.

Not only is Katherine wheelchair bound but she is also said to be "emotionally crippled," after hearing the allegations.

Katherine's heartache comes after The Daily Mirror recently exclusively reported that the star's family was in a fight to save his reputation ahead of the film's release on Channel 4 and HBO.

They recently fired what they thought would be a fatal strike - a $100million lawsuit against US channel HBO, accusing Wade and James of having “financial motivations”.

But HBO aired the documentary anyway, and Channel 4 similarly decided to stand its ground.
