'My 600-lb Life' star L.B. Bonner found dead with gunshot wound

a man sitting in a car © Facebook Reality star L.B. Bonner, who chronicled his significant weight loss on the TLC series “My 600-lb Life,” was discovered dead with a gunshot wound, according to a new report.

Bonner’s body was found in a ditch in a Lexington, South Carolina park by authorities on Thursday night, TMZ reported, citing a police report.

Police had been carrying out on a welfare check for Bonner, who was 30, when they discovered his body.

An investigation into his death is ongoing. Police told TMZ they are not currently searching for any person of interest but had not determined that the reality star died in a suicide.

The public information officer for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department was not immediately available for comment.

Bonner posted an alarming message to his Facebook page on Thursday night that began with him thanking those who loved and supported him.

“I've realized a few things over the last few days and its time that, I face my demons head on..,” Bonner wrote. “No matter what you change or the efforts you put forth in life, sometimes you just have to take it on the chin and deal with things your own way...Again, thank y'all so much...

“Please don't ever let people you care about not know how you feel....,” he concluded the post.

Bonner, who was from Lexington, appeared on the sixth season of “My 600-lb Life” earlier this year. He lost more than 300 pounds after beginning the season at 642 pounds.
