Their bunger fizzled out: NSW leadership challenge over says Constance

NSW Transport minister Andrew Constance speaking to media at state parliament about the abandoned leadership challenge against Premier Gladys Berejiklian labelling the attempt a joke. Constance says the three rebel MPs are entitled their view but they have been rebuked by their colleagues. "I mean look what happened, I mean seriously — it's just laughable," he says. "They lit a bunger this morning and it fizzled out, end of story," he says.The debate comes after a weekend of demonstrations from supporters and opponents of the draft legislation. In its current form, the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019 would allow terminations up to 22 weeks as well as later abortions if two doctors agree.
