- A photo of a Philippine jeepney in New York has gone viral

- It may be the only one of its kind in the Big Apple, and that's a big thanks to Apl de Ap

- Netizens gave mixed reactions in seeing a "tatak Pinoy" right on a foreign street

Who would ever think that the Pinoy-made jeepney would actually be running in the streets of the Big Apple?

KAMI learned that a blue Philippine-made jeepney was found in New York and it was literally running, and not just something for display.

According to The Philippines News, the jeepney was brought to the Big Apple by no other than singer Apl de Ap.

The jeepney's color was blue with a stainless steel body.

Many New Yorkers seem to wonder at the vehicle that was running on the street.

But then again, New York is a place for all, one where everyone could express themselves without any inhibition.

So perhaps, for as long as the Philippine jeepney is not committing any violation, it will be a part of New York streets for a long time.

Allan Pineda Lindo, a.k.a. Apl de Ap, is a Filipino-born American rapper. He is a member of the popular hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas. Apl is also a record producer.
