What: Toast to DWC proceeds benefit the Downtown Women’s Center, whose mission is to end homelessness for women in greater Los Angeles through housing, wellness, and advocacy. The event is hosted by DWC’s Leadership Council, a network of emerging leaders working to contribute to the success of DWC.

10th annual LA Food Fest comes to Santa Anita Park

What: The LA Food Fest, which was originally called LA Street Food Fest, debuted in 2009. Now in its 10th and final year, the fest will feature international talent including Dante Ferrero (Dante Brasa y Fuego, Mexico City), Olivier Deboise (Aperi, San Miguel de Allende), and Sergio Meza (Villanos en Bermudas, Mexico City).

Where: Santa Anita Park. 285 Huntington Dr., Arcadia.

Details: Happening from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. General admission tickets are priced at $69, while VIP goes for $99.
