Effective Ways To Boost Your Human Growth Hormone

Referred to as the growth hormone, it is required for cellular repair, muscle growth, bone development, fat metabolism, robust immunity, athletic performance and mood regulation. 

When the level of the hormone falls, it can affect your quality of life. Weight gain and susceptibility to various diseases can be increased. HGH helps children grow and develop into healthy adults. The FDA has approved the usage of the synthetically developed hormone to treat specific conditions for both adults and children. 

For instance, HGH injections are given to children when they are born small, suffering from Turner’s syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, chronic kidney condition and HGH deficiency, according to WebMD. In adults, the injections are prescribed for short bowel syndrome, HGH deficiency that occurs from rare pituitary tumors and muscle wasting disease as a result of AIDS/HIV.

However, the FDA has not approved HGH to tackle aging and boost athletic performance since it could have negative consequences. Apart from injections, they can also be consumed in the form of pills and sprays, for which the Federal Trade Commission does not have enough evidence.  

Instead of taking the unnatural route, there are many organic and natural methods that can be tried to boost the human growth hormone. Some of them are as mentioned below.

Reduce Your Body Fat

People with obesity are more likely to have low level of HGH, thus putting their health at risk. This is especially true for people with belly fat, according to one observational study.

Try Intermittent Fasting

Studies have shown that 12 to 16 hour fasts increase HGH. For example, just one day of intermittent fasting increases HGH levels by 300 percent, according to Healthline. 

Get Good Sleep

Melatonin is a harmless supplement that has been linked to improving sleep quality. Good sleep will automatically have an impact on the amount of melatonin produced by the body.

Restrict Food Before Bedtime

Insulin is known to block HGH, which is released at night. Therefore, consuming dinner two to three hours before going to bed is advisable. This is because insulin levels could rise after eating carbs or protein and obstruct HGH production. But more research is needed into this claim. 

Restrict Sugar Intake

HGH levels drop when insulin increases. The reason behind insulin rising is the consumption of carbohydrates and sugar, thus it is mere logic that restricting daily sugar intake could help spike HGH production. Since excessive sugar intake can also lead to obesity, which reduces HGH levels, limiting the amount of sugar taken can greatly help.  

Perform High Intensity Exercise

High intensity exercise is the most efficient form of exercise to increase HGH essential for the body. Though all exercise helps, high intensity forms work best. Similar to intermittent fasting and supplementation, exercise has to be implemented over the long term to have a lasting impact.
