Only in the Philippines.

While the tandem of Bongbong Marcos and Sarah Duterte lords every Tom, Dick and Harry survey bombarding the electorate these days, the rest of the candidates seem to reflect a dizzying dance of numbers from one sample to another.

Still eager to see the trend but can't trust any survey out there? Perhaps a quick visit to the nearest 7-Eleven convenience store can lead you to more accurate answers.

Now extended until May 4, the 24-hour franchise of corner shops carries on with its mock poll dubbed "SpeakCUP" where customers can enjoy their Gulp or City Cafe beverage of choice from a specially designed 7-Eleven "CUPdidate" of your choice pictured on the sleeve.

Every sale is tallied daily per branch and is swiftly sent to the main office for tabulation.

As of April 5, 2022, 2.5 million cups have been counted, with the leading presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos with 1,205,225 cups or 45 percent. Vice President Leni Robredo gets the runner-up seat with 642,710 cups or 24ercent. The undecided cup is next, gathering 435,597 cups or 16 percent. Although surveys do not say it all, 7-Eleven is all out as the public's fun partner in voting. Project 7-Election aims to be a safe and fun space for everyone to show their support by purchasing their favorite 7-Eleven drinks. Repeat votes are totally welcome! There's no age and voting limit at the 7-Election mock poll, unlike the official national elections. 7-Eleven encourages responsible voting while still injecting fun amid the upcoming election.

Since 2010, 7-Election has accurately predicted the 2010 and 2016 presidential election winner. All eyes are set on the 2022 results as the winning candidate will be determined just five days before the May 9 national poll. Will 7-Eleven get it right once more? Now is the time to make every cup count for Ping Lacson, Bongbong Marcos, Isko Moreno, Manny Pacquiao, and Leni Robredo.

It's not too late to say BOTOms up with the extended voting period. Customers can still head over to the nearest 7-Eleven branch and make their cups count!
