KAMI learned that the traffic navigation app Waze ranked the worst cities in the world to drive in.

Traffic has been very evident in many cities and it has been a long and ongoing problem for our country. In line with this issue, our very own capital Manila recently ranked first as the worst city to drive in the world.

However, this is not the first time that the Philippines placed first in the said survey. According to Waze, they conducted a Driver Satisfaction Index in 2017 to their 90 million active users. Metro Manila claimed the top spot again as the worst out of 39 countries in Asia.

From 3.8 minutes in April, it will now take 4.9 minutes to drive a full kilometer in Metro Manila.

In the latest survey, Manila is followed by Bogota in Columbia with 4 minutes, Jakarta in Indonesia with 3.83 minutes, Tel Aviv in Israel with 2.83 minutes, and Sao Paulo in Brazil with 2.34 minutes.
